Leppo Concrete is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts & Finance Executive to join our dynamic team in Kota Kinabalu. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the daily financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining the integrity of our financial data. In this position, you will handle a wide range of accounting tasks, from processing invoices and managing payroll to preparing monthly financial statements. Tanggung Jawab

  • Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, journal entries, and financial reports in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
  • Process payroll calculations and ensure all statutory deductions (EPF, SOCSO, Income Tax) are calculated correctly and remitted on time.
  • Monitor company expenses, prepare variance reports, and support budget preparation processes.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all financial documents, both physical and digital, to ensure easy retrieval.
  • Assist the finance manager during the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors as required.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, financial regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with team members and management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently within strict deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of construction industry financial operations is an added advantage.
