Tanggung Jawab

  • Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance, conducting performance reviews, and fostering professional development.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic financial planning.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions to ensure full compliance with local laws.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks.
  • Conduct regular reconciliation of bank statements and credit card accounts.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP.
  • Deep understanding of Malaysian tax regulations, statutory requirements, and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
