DESA is seeking a meticulous and highly motivated Accounts Officer to join our finance team in Kota Kinabalu. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of our daily operations. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Ensure full compliance with the Malaysia Companies Act and internal corporate governance policies.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, reconciliations, and variance analysis for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings, ensuring adherence to the Income Tax Act guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during periodic financial audits.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Handle bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of all financial documentation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- In-depth knowledge of the Malaysia Companies Act and Income Tax Act.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, or ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
