Reed Elsevier is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join our finance team on a project-based basis. In this role, you will support our financial operations by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor transactions.
You will be responsible for preparing, recording, verifying, and analyzing accounts payable data. The ideal candidate will ensure that all vendor invoices are processed correctly, payments are made on schedule, and financial records are maintained with the highest level of integrity. This position requires a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment.

Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare, record, and verify accounts payable transactions accurately and timely.
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and compliant.
- Reconcile accounts payable accounts and resolve any billing discrepancies with vendors.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing procedures by providing accurate financial data.
- Analyze accounts payable reports to identify trends and support financial decision-making.
- Communicate with vendors regarding invoice status, payment schedules, and account inquiries.
- Maintain organized digital and physical files for audit purposes and record keeping.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Open to fresh graduates (Interns are welcome to apply).
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar systems).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines efficiently.
