The Municipal Government of Balabagan, Lanao Del Sur, is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administrative Aide VI (Accounting Clerk II) to join our dynamic local government team in the Bangsamoro region. This role is essential in maintaining the financial integrity of our municipal operations, providing critical support to our accounting department, and ensuring that all fiscal documentation meets regional and national standards.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Prepare and verify financial vouchers, payroll summaries, and disbursement documents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers, journals, and financial records for municipal departments.
  • Process accounts payable and ensure timely settlement of obligations according to government regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for auditing purposes.
  • Conduct regular inventory of municipal supplies and reconcile them with accounting records.
  • Coordinate with different local government departments to ensure all financial requests are properly documented.
  • Participate in internal audits and provide support to the accounting office during peak fiscal cycles.

Kualifikasi

  • Completion of at least two years of college studies in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or office administration is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for data management and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of government accounting standards and local government units (LGU) procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional work ethics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Filipino and English.
