Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation, execution, and monitoring of the municipal budget, ensuring adherence to fiscal policies and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive financial records, ledgers, and accounts in accordance with COA (Commission on Audit) rules and regulations.
- Process and verify financial transactions, including disbursements, remittances, and collections, ensuring proper documentation and authorization.
- Prepare regular financial reports, statements, and analyses for internal management and external regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant government accounting standards, fiscal laws, and audit requirements.
- Support internal control procedures to safeguard municipal assets and prevent fraud or mismanagement.
- Collaborate with various departments to provide fiscal guidance and ensure financial accountability across all government projects and activities.
- Assist in the procurement process by verifying budget availability and proper financial clearances for purchases.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must possess Civil Service Eligibility (Professional Level) or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, or auditing, preferably within a government agency or local government unit.
- Strong understanding of Philippine government accounting standards, budgeting processes, and COA regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Demonstrated integrity, strong ethical conduct, and commitment to public service.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and work collaboratively within a team.
