Emerson Electric is seeking a motivated AI Proposal Automation Intern to join our Systems and Software team in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. This internship offers a unique opportunity for engineering or computer science students to gain real‑world experience in developing and deploying AI‑driven solutions that streamline our proposal processes.
As an intern, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, build, and test intelligent automation models that extract, analyze, and structure proposal data. You’ll work with large language models, natural language processing (NLP) tools, and data pipelines to improve accuracy and reduce turnaround time for proposal creation. In addition, you will document workflows, prepare test datasets, and provide insights on performance metrics.

Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in designing and implementing AI models for proposal content extraction and summarization.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest, clean, and preprocess proposal documents.
- Collaborate with proposal managers to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Create automation scripts using Python to integrate AI services into existing proposal workflows.
- Evaluate model performance and iterate on solutions based on quantitative feedback.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Support the team in testing, debugging, and deploying AI solutions in a controlled environment.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing by documenting best practices and lessons learned.
Kualifikasi
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, including natural language processing and large language models.
- Proficiency in Python programming and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn).
- Understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation.
- Self‑motivated, eager to learn, and capable of working both independently and in a team.
- Prior exposure to automation tools or workflow platforms is a plus.
