Join ByteDance's APAC Accounting and Reporting team as a Senior Accountant and play a pivotal role in the financial integrity of our expanding operations across Asia-Pacific. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with international accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support our business growth.
The APAC Accounting and Reporting team is the backbone of ByteDance's financial operations in the region, handling the core financial accounting activities for multiple entities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, and operations, to ensure seamless financial processes and reporting. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and oversee the full accounting cycle for APAC entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and timely resolution of audit findings
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance financial controls and reporting efficiency
- Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports to support management decision-making
- Collaborate with tax teams to ensure compliance with local tax regulations and optimize tax strategies
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering professional development and best practices
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, implementing necessary adjustments to financial processes
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or ACCA qualification is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, with at least 2 years in a senior role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience with multinational company accounting practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Previous experience in the technology or internet industry is a plus
