Join Focus Point Vision Care Group Sdn Bhd – Malaysia’s leading optical retail chain – as an Area Sales Manager Cum Optometrist / Optician. This hybrid role combines clinical optometric expertise with strategic sales leadership, focusing on the North Region (Penang, Kedah, Perlis). Based in Petaling Jaya, you will drive revenue growth, manage key accounts, and ensure exceptional patient care across multiple outlets.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will spearhead sales initiatives, coach store teams, and optimize product placement to meet targets. As a licensed optometrist, you will uphold clinical standards, perform eye exams, and dispense optical solutions. Tanggung Jawab
- Drive sales performance and achieve revenue targets across the North Region (Penang, Kedah, Perlis).
- Lead and mentor store managers and optical staff to enhance customer experience and sales.
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments for patients.
- Dispense and fit eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other optical aids.
- Collaborate with marketing to implement local promotions and product launches.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain for stock optimization.
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Prepare sales reports and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or related field; registered with the Malaysian Optical Council.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in optical retail or sales management.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing teams.
- Strong knowledge of ophthalmic instruments, lens technology, and frame selection.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the North Region.
- Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and preferably Mandarin or Tamil.
- Valid driver's license and own transport.
