Avows Technologies is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient AS400 Programmer to join our expanding IT team in Jakarta Pusat. As an AS400 Developer, you will play a critical role in maintaining, developing, and optimizing our core IBM i (AS/400) business applications. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in legacy system modernization and robust backend programming who is eager to contribute to enterprise-level solutions.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into high-performing, scalable code. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, maintain, and enhance application programs using RPG, RPGLE, and CL programming languages.
- Perform comprehensive testing and debugging of programs to ensure high quality and system reliability.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing AS400/IBM i applications.
- Analyze business requirements and design technical specifications for system modifications or new module development.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless integration between AS400 systems and external applications.
- Document technical processes, program flows, and system enhancements for internal knowledge base.
- Optimize system performance by refactoring code and managing database queries efficiently.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in AS400/IBM i application development.
- Strong proficiency in RPG, RPGLE, CL, and DB2/400.
- Solid understanding of DDS (Data Description Specifications) and Subfiles.
- Experience with ILE (Integrated Language Environment) concepts is highly preferred.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a technical team.
- Fluency in English or Bahasa Indonesia is required.
