Tanggung Jawab
- Process and update property assessment records, tax declarations, and related documents in accordance with local revenue codes and regulations.
- Perform field verification and inspection of real properties to ensure accurate data collection and assessment classification.
- Maintain systematic filing and archiving of all assessment documents, both physical and digital, for easy retrieval and auditing purposes.
- Assist taxpayers with inquiries regarding property assessments, tax payments, and documentary requirements in a courteous and helpful manner.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on assessment activities, property listings, and tax revenue projections to the Assessment Division head.
- Coordinate with the Local Treasurer's Office and other government agencies to ensure seamless property tax administration.
- Operate office equipment and utilize specialized software for data encoding, computation, and report generation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent college credits) preferably in Public Administration, Business Administration, Accountancy, or any related field.
- Career Service (Professional or Subprofessional) Eligibility, or its equivalent, as required by the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
- With at least one (1) year of relevant experience in administrative work, assessment, or records management (preferred but not required for entry-level).
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in processing numerical data and legal documents.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and knowledge of local government assessment software is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Filipino.
- Must be willing to be assigned in the Bicol Region and conduct field work as necessary.
