Chng Accounting Service And Advisory is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our growing team in Ipoh. We pride ourselves on providing top-tier financial advisory services, and we are looking for a candidate who is passionate about accuracy and financial compliance.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the day-to-day financial operations of our clients. You will be responsible for handling full sets of accounts, ensuring that all financial records are maintained accurately and in accordance with Malaysian accounting standards (MAAE). We value self-starters who can work independently with minimal supervision, so the ability to manage your own workload is essential.

Tanggung Jawab
- Perform full sets of accounts, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare bank statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and yearly financial statements and management reports.
- Handle tax computation, filing, and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations (e.g., SST/GST).
- Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
- Assist in annual audit preparation and support external auditors when required.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, QuickBooks, or SAP).
- Strong knowledge of MAAE (Malaysian Accounting Standards) and tax laws.
- Excellent command of the English language and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
