Merrymart Grocery Centers Inc is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Assistant Branch Manager (Selling) to join our team in Iponan, Misamis Oriental. In this pivotal role, you will be the heartbeat of our branch’s daily operations, ensuring that every customer who walks through our doors experiences the highest standard of service.

As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will lead our selling floor teams across various departments—including Fresh, Food, and Non-Food sections. You will be responsible for maintaining operational efficiency, optimizing inventory flow, and cultivating a high-performance culture among your staff. Tanggung Jawab

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across Fresh, Food, and Non-Food departments on the selling floor.
  • Manage, coach, and develop department staff to achieve individual and branch-wide sales targets.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels, accurate product merchandising, and attractive display standards.
  • Monitor and enforce strict quality control, food safety standards, and freshness protocols.
  • Analyze daily sales performance metrics and implement strategies to improve departmental profitability.
  • Coordinate with the Branch Manager to execute company-wide marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve service-related concerns to maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and store security procedures.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the retail or grocery industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
  • Deep understanding of inventory management, P&L responsibility, and retail operations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using retail management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as required by retail operations.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and operational KPIs.
