Are you a detail-oriented engineering professional looking to advance your career in property management? San Diego Mactan Inc. is seeking a proactive and skilled Assistant Building Engineer to join our team in San Juan City. In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our facility operations, ensuring that our properties are maintained to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and aesthetics.
You will work closely with the management team, contractors, and tenants to oversee technical compliance, review architectural plans, and ensure that all building systems function at peak performance. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building systems management, tenant relations, and project oversight within the vibrant Metro Manila real estate sector.
Tanggung Jawab
- Collaborate with the Building Engineer to conduct regular site inspections and facility audits.
- Review and interpret construction plans and designs to ensure alignment with management criteria and building codes.
- Coordinate with external contractors to supervise repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Act as a point of contact for tenants regarding facility-related technical concerns and property improvements.
- Monitor and manage building utility consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
- Prepare detailed reports on facility conditions, work orders, and maintenance progress for management review.
- Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety regulations and building operation policies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in property management, facility engineering, or construction supervision.
- Strong understanding of building systems (MEP/HVAC) and architectural blueprints.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with tenants and contractors.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and construction management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Must be organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple maintenance projects simultaneously.
