We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Company Secretary to join our dynamic Corporate Legal & Secretarial team based in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Centre.
As the Assistant Company Secretary, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Company Secretary in ensuring full compliance with the Companies Act 2016, Bursa Malaysia Securities Listing Requirements, and the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (MCCG). You will be responsible for the efficient administration of board meetings, statutory filings, and the maintenance of corporate records for IJN and its subsidiaries.

Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Company Secretary in ensuring compliance with the Companies Act 2016, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, and relevant regulations.
- Prepare and file statutory returns, annual reports, and other regulatory submissions with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
- Organize and coordinate Board, Board Committee, and General Meetings, including preparing agendas, collating board papers, and drafting accurate minutes and resolutions.
- Maintain and update statutory registers and records, ensuring absolute accuracy and timely updates.
- Liaise effectively with directors, shareholders, auditors, legal counsels, and regulatory authorities on corporate secretarial and governance matters.
- Manage the company's seal, execution of documents, and ensure proper custody of corporate records.
- Handle share-related matters, including share transfers, allotments, and dividend payments in accordance with company policies.
- Provide advisory support to internal departments on corporate governance best practices and secretarial procedures.
Kualifikasi
- Professional qualification (MAICSA, ICSA, or equivalent) or currently pursuing/partially qualified.
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Corporate Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience in a corporate secretarial function, preferably in a listed company or large corporation.
- Strong knowledge of the Companies Act 2016, SSM requirements, and the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (MCCG).
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in document preparation and record-keeping.
- Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and integrity.
