As an Assistant Company Secretary, you will act as a key liaison between the company, its shareholders, and regulatory authorities. You will be responsible for maintaining statutory records, organizing board meetings, and ensuring that all corporate filings are completed in accordance with the Malaysian Companies Act and other relevant local regulations. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with an eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage confidential information with the utmost integrity.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of statutory documents with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
  • Coordinate and attend board and shareholder meetings, including the preparation of agendas, minutes, and board papers.
  • Maintain and update statutory registers and minute books to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Monitor and advise on changes in corporate laws, regulations, and best practices in corporate governance.
  • Manage the administrative aspects of share allotments, transfers, and other changes in share capital.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, auditors, and external service providers regarding corporate secretarial matters.
  • Ensure timely submission of annual returns and other periodic corporate filings.

Kualifikasi

  • Degree in Law, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification with MAICSA (ICSA) or equivalent (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in a corporate secretarial role within a multinational company or a secretarial firm.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Companies Act 2016 and relevant statutory regulations in Malaysia.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and corporate secretarial software.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
