SM Development Corporation (SMDC) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Construction Design Manager to join our dynamic project team in Pasay City. As a key member of our construction division, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between architectural intent and on-site reality.
This project-based role is designed for a results-driven professional who excels in design coordination, technical problem-solving, and cross-functional team collaboration. You will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities strictly adhere to design specifications, timelines, and quality standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and oversee on-site design implementation to ensure alignment with approved architectural and engineering drawings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for design-related inquiries between site engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Identify, document, and resolve technical design conflicts or field discrepancies in real-time to prevent project delays.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify material quality, finish specifications, and overall construction compliance.
- Coordinate with internal design teams and external consultants to manage the approval process for shop drawings and material submittals.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of design revisions and change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in progress meetings, providing status updates on design implementation and potential risks.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Professional (PRC) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction management or site design coordination, preferably in high-rise residential projects.
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting complex architectural, structural, and MEP plans.
- Excellent knowledge of local building codes, construction materials, and standard building practices.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot design issues on-site and provide actionable solutions under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with stakeholders and contractors.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and construction project management software.
