We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Assistant Director (Finance & Planning) to join the National Institute of Early Childhood Development. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for driving the financial strategy, ensuring fiscal health, and supporting the organization's mission to provide quality early childhood education.
As a Finance leader, you will oversee budget preparation, financial forecasting, and reporting, while leading a dedicated finance team. You will play a critical role in optimizing resource allocation, managing risks, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the strategic financial planning and budgeting process for the institute, aligning financial goals with organizational objectives.
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Develop comprehensive financial reports and analysis to support senior management decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital expenditure projects to ensure financial stability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Ensure strict compliance with statutory regulations, MAS guidelines, and internal policies.
- Review and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and transparency.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in finance, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership or directorial role.
- Strong experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budget management within a large organization.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Experience in the education or non-profit sector is highly advantageous.
