Are you an experienced finance leader with a passion for driving operational excellence within the education sector? The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is seeking a dynamic Assistant Director / Senior Manager to spearhead our Accounts Receivable (AR) Operations, specifically focusing on Continuing Education and Training (CET) initiatives.
In this high-impact role, you will be the cornerstone of our financial governance framework. You will lead the end-to-end management of AR processes, ensuring high-level compliance, process optimization, and scalable solutions that support SIT's rapid growth in the CET landscape. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end Accounts Receivable operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in billing and collections for CET programs.
- Develop and implement robust internal control frameworks to ensure compliance with financial regulations and audit standards.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives within the AR department to streamline payment processes and enhance stakeholder experience.
- Collaborate with internal departments to manage revenue recognition and ensure alignment with institutional financial reporting standards.
- Analyze AR aging and performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior leadership to optimize cash flow.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, corporate partners, and individual learners.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering professional development and operational efficiency.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CPA/CA/ACCA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in accounts receivable or financial operations, ideally within the higher education or public sector.
- Proven track record in process re-engineering and implementing financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERPs).
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and tax regulations.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex project timelines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into strategic narratives.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.
