Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and verify daily accounting transactions including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to ensure complete accuracy.
- Support the month-end closing process, including bank reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, and general ledger journal entries.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies, local tax regulations, and internal audit requirements.
- Prepare monthly financial performance reports and assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Monitor cash flow requirements and manage petty cash and corporate credit card reconciliation processes.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth year-end audit completion.
- Implement and streamline finance workflows to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround time for financial closing.
- Provide training and guidance to junior finance staff to ensure consistent adherence to accounting standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CA/CPA).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
- Strong proficiency in financial management software (e.g., SAP, SunSystems, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local tax laws, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance in Malaysia.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to collaborate across different departments.
