Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to make a strategic impact? NovaAir Industrial Gases Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and ambitious Assistant Finance Manager/Accountant to join our team in Kota Damansara. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving our financial performance, ensuring the integrity of our accounting records, and supporting the long-term growth of our operations within the industrial gas sector.
As a key member of our finance department, you will bridge the gap between day-to-day accounting activities and high-level financial strategy. We are looking for a proactive individual who excels in a dynamic environment, possesses strong analytical skills, and is eager to partner with stakeholders to enhance our reporting processes and operational efficiency.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage full sets of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with MFRS and statutory requirements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports for senior leadership.
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop financial budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to drive business performance.
- Ensure stringent internal controls and treasury management to mitigate financial risk.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in reporting workflows to support business scalability.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in accounting or financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or SQL) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian taxation laws, SST compliance, and Companies Act.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data for decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of managing stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing or gas environment.
