We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant HSSE Manager to join their team and contribute to a culture of excellence. This full-time position is based in the Central Region of Singapore and offers an attractive salary package of up to $7,800 per month.
As the Assistant HSSE Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that all health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) practices are not only compliant but also continuously improved. You will partner with the HSSE Manager to implement strategic initiatives, manage risk, and promote best practices across construction sites. Your responsibilities will span from policy development to hands-on site inspections, training, and incident management.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in construction HSSE, who holds relevant certifications (NEBOSH, WSH Officer, etc.) and possesses exceptional leadership and communication skills. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining HSSE policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements and company goals.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend effective controls.
- Coordinate and deliver HSSE training programs for employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and report on environmental performance, including waste management, emissions, and resource use.
- Manage HSSE documentation, such as permits to work, safety data sheets, and incident records.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and subcontractors on HSSE matters to ensure compliance and collaboration.
- Support emergency preparedness and response planning, including conducting drills and tabletop exercises.
Kualifikasi
- Degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HSSE experience in the construction industry.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH International General Certificate/Diploma, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, or WSH Officer certification.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH Act, Environmental Protection Act, and applicable codes of practice.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HSSE management software.
