As the Assistant Manager - Accounting, you will play a pivotal role in the company's financial health. You will oversee the complete accounting cycle, from managing the accounts payable and receivable functions to overseeing general ledger activities and fixed asset management. You will be responsible for the preparation of accurate financial statements, ensuring strict compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), tax regulations, and internal policies. A key part of your role will be to drive process improvements and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. You will work closely with senior management, providing insightful financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic recommendations. Furthermore, you will coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure full statutory compliance.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the full spectrum of accounting functions including AP, AR, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, treasury functions, and banking relationships.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team.
- Drive continuous improvement in accounting systems, internal controls, and standard operating procedures.
- Prepare budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA, or equivalent is highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of MFRS, Malaysian corporate tax laws, SST, and transfer pricing.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
