We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager for Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) to join our team in Perak. In this pivotal role, you will be the cornerstone of our workplace safety culture, ensuring that all operations adhere strictly to government legislation and internal safety standards.
As an ESH Assistant Manager, you will lead efforts to minimize workplace hazards, mitigate environmental impacts, and foster a proactive safety mindset across all project sites. You will work closely with management to drive compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Environmental Quality Act (EQA), ensuring our company remains a leader in sustainable and safe operational practices.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive ESH policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement effective corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant Malaysian regulations, including OSHA 1994, EQA 1974, and other statutory requirements.
- Lead and facilitate ESH training programs to enhance employee awareness and emergency preparedness.
- Manage accident reporting and investigation processes, maintaining accurate records and driving root cause analysis.
- Liaise with external government agencies and regulatory bodies to represent company interests during audits and inspections.
- Promote a culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement across all departments and site operations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ESH management or a related safety role, preferably in a construction or manufacturing setting.
- In-depth knowledge of DOSH and DOE regulations, guidelines, and industry standards.
- Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with a valid certification from NIOSH/DOSH is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver safety training programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and professional report writing skills.
