Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end tax compliance processes for Group entities, ensuring timely and accurate submission of tax returns.
- Provide expert tax advisory support to various business units on operational matters, including cross-border transactions and new project structures.
- Monitor and analyze changes in tax legislation, assessing the potential impact on the Group's financial position.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, tax authorities, and legal advisors to resolve tax queries and audits efficiently.
- Drive the implementation of tax planning strategies to optimize the Group’s effective tax rate while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive tax reports and documentation for senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Maintain internal tax control frameworks to mitigate financial and compliance risks.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MICPA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in corporate tax, either in a reputable audit firm or a multinational corporation.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Income Tax Act and current tax regulations.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex legal and tax documents.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of explaining technical tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills preferred).
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment.
