Pelaburan Hartanah Berhad is seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager or Manager (Facility Management) to oversee operations at The Shore, Melaka.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the facility, maintaining high standards of property upkeep, and enhancing the overall tenant and visitor experience. You will lead maintenance initiatives, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. We are looking for a hands-on leader with a strong background in building management, engineering, or property services, capable of balancing operational efficiency with excellent stakeholder management.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Oversee day-to-day facility management operations, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for The Shore.
  • Manage and coordinate with external contractors, service providers, and vendors to ensure quality of service and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and areas for facility improvement.
  • Monitor and manage facility budgets, including procurement, expense tracking, and cost-control initiatives.
  • Ensure full compliance with local building regulations, safety standards, and fire protection requirements.
  • Handle tenant/resident complaints, inquiries, and requests promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to prolong asset lifespan and prevent operational downtime.
  • Lead and mentor the on-site technical and maintenance support team to ensure high performance and safety protocols.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Property Management, Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil), or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facility or property management, preferably in commercial or mixed-use developments.
  • Strong knowledge of building services, preventive maintenance cycles, and utility management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and familiar with building management software (BMS).
  • Ability to work independently, make critical decisions under pressure, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Relevant certifications in Building Management or Safety/Health (OSHA) will be considered an added advantage.
  • Must be willing to be based permanently at The Shore, Melaka.
