Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise and mentor a team of medical coders to ensure timely and accurate coding of healthcare services
- Conduct regular audits of coded records to maintain compliance with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines
- Develop and implement coding policies, procedures, and training programs for staff development
- Collaborate with clinical departments to resolve coding discrepancies and documentation issues
- Monitor coding performance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy rates
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, coding guidelines, and reimbursement policies
- Prepare reports on coding operations, productivity, and compliance for management review
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or related healthcare field
- Minimum 3 years of medical coding experience with 1+ years in a supervisory role
- Strong expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems with CPC or CCS certification preferred
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage coding operations in healthcare settings
- Deep understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and reimbursement processes
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for training staff and collaborating with clinical teams
