Are you an analytical insurance professional looking to make a significant impact on health insurance profitability? MSIG, a leader in the insurance sector, is seeking a motivated Assistant Manager for our Health Segment Profit Centre. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Head of Department to drive strategic initiatives, optimize portfolio performance, and foster the sustainable growth of our healthcare insurance business.
You will be instrumental in analyzing market trends, refining product offerings, and ensuring operational excellence across the health department. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented individual with a deep understanding of the Singapore health insurance landscape, capable of balancing commercial objectives with regulatory compliance and customer-centric service delivery.
Tanggung Jawab
- Support the Head of Department in developing and executing segment-specific growth strategies for the Health Insurance portfolio.
- Analyze underwriting performance and loss ratios to identify opportunities for profitability improvement.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to ensure MSIG's health product suite remains market-leading.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Claims, Actuarial, and Sales to streamline product operations.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and board presentations regarding segment health and financial outlook.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and workflow efficiencies.
- Ensure strict adherence to corporate governance, compliance standards, and local regulatory requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically within Health Insurance or Profit Centre management.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Deep understanding of the Singapore medical insurance market and regulatory environment.
- Proven track record in driving business growth or improving underwriting profitability.
- Professional insurance qualifications (e.g., CMI, ANZIIF, or equivalent) are highly advantageous.
