Are you a seasoned insurance professional with a passion for healthcare strategy? MSIG is seeking a high-performing Assistant Manager for our Segment Profit Centre (Health) in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Head of Department to drive profitable growth, refine product strategies, and enhance the operational excellence of our health insurance portfolio.
You will play a critical role in data-driven decision-making, monitoring market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our healthcare offerings remain competitive and sustainable. This position is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong analytical skills coupled with an ability to execute complex strategic initiatives.
Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Head of Department in developing and executing strategies to ensure the sustainable and profitable growth of the health insurance portfolio.
- Analyze segment performance metrics, underwriting results, and claims data to identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to refine health insurance products based on market feedback and competitive benchmarking.
- Support the operational management of the profit centre, ensuring compliance with internal governance and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor competitor activities and market shifts within the Singapore healthcare landscape to maintain MSIG’s competitive edge.
- Prepare periodic performance reports and business review presentations for senior management.
- Participate in cross-departmental projects to streamline underwriting workflows and enhance customer experience.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the general insurance industry, specifically within the Health or Medical insurance segment.
- Strong analytical capability with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or BI platforms).
- Proven track record in profit centre management, underwriting, or product management within the insurance sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore’s healthcare insurance market, regulations, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively across various internal departments.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team-based strategic goals.
