MSIG is seeking a high-performing Assistant Manager for our Health Segment Profit Centre in Singapore. In this critical role, you will work closely with the Head of Department to drive profitable growth, manage underwriting excellence, and execute key strategic initiatives within our healthcare portfolio.

You will be instrumental in analyzing market trends, optimizing product performance, and ensuring that our health insurance offerings remain competitive and sustainable. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives on data-driven decision-making and collaborative problem-solving in a dynamic insurance environment.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist the Head of Department in developing and executing strategies to achieve annual profit and growth targets for the Health insurance portfolio.
  • Analyze segment performance, loss ratios, and market trends to identify opportunities for portfolio optimization.
  • Support the underwriting process, ensuring alignment with corporate risk appetite and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Claims, Actuarial, and Sales to enhance service delivery and product value.
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for the profit centre, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Participate in the development and launch of new healthcare insurance products and policy enhancements.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and distribution partners to support business development objectives.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience within the general insurance sector, specifically focusing on Health/Medical insurance.
  • Strong understanding of underwriting principles and profit centre management.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable business strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for reporting and presentations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to business development.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CMI, CII) are highly advantageous.
