Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily farrowing operations and supervise farm staff to ensure optimal productivity
- Implement and maintain biosecurity protocols to prevent disease outbreaks
- Monitor sow health, breeding cycles, and piglet development metrics
- Coordinate breeding schedules and manage inventory of livestock supplies
- Train and mentor farm workers on best practices in swine care
- Maintain accurate records of breeding, births, and mortality rates
- Collaborate with veterinarians to address health concerns and treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with animal welfare regulations and farm safety standards
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in swine farming, especially farrowing management
- Strong understanding of swine reproductive physiology and piglet care
- Proven leadership and staff supervision abilities
- Knowledge of biosecurity measures and disease prevention protocols
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and flexible hours
- Basic veterinary skills and experience with animal health treatments
