Sunway Education Group is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – University Placement to join our prestigious academic support team at Sunway International School. In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between secondary education and higher learning, guiding students through the complexities of university applications and career pathways.
As the Assistant Manager, you will lead initiatives to equip our students with the resources, knowledge, and strategic advice required to gain admission into top-tier global universities. You will work closely with academic departments, parents, and external university representatives to ensure our students' profiles are competitive and well-positioned for success. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive university placement strategies to support students in achieving their academic aspirations.
- Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to students regarding university choices, course selection, and application timelines.
- Manage the end-to-end university application process, including oversight of personal statements, recommendation letters, and standardized testing requirements.
- Coordinate and host university fairs, guest speaker sessions, and informational workshops for both students and parents.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with international university admissions offices and recruitment representatives.
- Track and analyze placement data to provide actionable reports to the school leadership team.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of global university trends, admission criteria, and scholarship opportunities.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in higher education advising, career counseling, or university placement roles.
- In-depth knowledge of global university application systems (e.g., UCAS, Common App, etc.).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in managing data and student records.
- Proactive, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
