Education Republic is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Product Manager (China Lead) to join our expanding team in Batam. In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between our educational offerings and the vibrant Chinese student market, driving recruitment initiatives and enhancing our brand presence.
You will be responsible for overseeing product positioning, managing stakeholder relationships, and executing data-driven marketing strategies tailored to Chinese students seeking global education opportunities. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, ensuring our student recruitment division exceeds growth targets while maintaining the high standards of service Education Republic is known for.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive student recruitment strategies specifically tailored for the Chinese market.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine product offerings to better align with the needs and trends of Chinese students.
- Manage end-to-end communication and relationship building with prospective students and educational partners in China.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and student feedback to provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Coordinate with the marketing department to create culturally resonant content and digital campaigns.
- Support the operational aspects of the student application process, ensuring a seamless experience for every applicant.
- Monitor and report on KPIs, conversion rates, and ROI of recruitment initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Professional fluency in both Mandarin (written and spoken) and English is mandatory.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in product management, sales, or international education recruitment.
- Deep understanding of the Chinese cultural landscape and digital ecosystem (e.g., WeChat, RED, Weibo).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, capable of influencing diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM software and data analytics tools is highly preferred.
