We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Assistant Project Engineer, you will serve as a vital link between the design office and the site team. You will be responsible for translating complex design intent into actionable site instructions, managing subcontractor productivity, and maintaining rigorous project documentation. The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in M&E building services and a passion for architectural interior design.
Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate M&E installation works on-site to ensure alignment with design specifications and architectural requirements.
- Supervise subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and progress schedules.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of project documentation, including method statements, shop drawings, and RFI (Request for Information) logs.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential clashes or discrepancies in M&E layouts.
- Support the Project Manager in progress reporting, site meetings, and coordination with consultants and clients.
- Manage the tracking of material deliveries and verification of site installations against approved drawings.
- Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with local authority regulations and BCA standards.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or Construction Management.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or BIM software is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of M&E systems (lighting, HVAC, power distribution, and plumbing).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and project schedules.
- Possess a proactive attitude, strong problem-solving capabilities, and a commitment to on-site project success.
