Wilcon Depot, Inc., the Philippines' premier home improvement and construction supply retailer, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our expanding team.
As a key player in our Construction Department, you will provide critical support in the planning, coordination, and successful execution of our flagship commercial mall projects. This is a hands-on role that directly impacts the timely and quality delivery of our store network expansion, allowing you to contribute tangibly to the company's aggressive growth trajectory.
In this capacity, you will work directly alongside senior project managers to ensure that all construction activities are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the vital link between design consultants, contractors, internal stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring seamless communication and swift resolution of any project challenges.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve rigorous monitoring of construction schedules, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, managing subcontractor performance, and facilitating the procurement of materials and equipment. You will assist in value engineering initiatives, review technical drawings and specifications, and prepare comprehensive progress reports for executive management. Your ability to anticipate issues, think critically, and drive solutions will be instrumental to your success.

- Assist in the overall planning, scheduling, and coordination of construction activities for commercial mall projects.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare regular status reports for management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Assist in budget monitoring, cost control, and procurement of materials and services.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work complies with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Review and evaluate technical drawings, submittals, and contract documents.
- Identify and resolve potential project issues, risks, and delays proactively.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all project-related activities.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or any related field.
- Licensed Engineer (CE) or Architect (RA) is highly preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of solid experience in construction project management, specifically in commercial building or mall projects.
- Proficient in MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and MS Office applications.
- Strong understanding of Philippine building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willing to be assigned in project sites across the Philippines and work on a full-time basis.
