Unitech QS Consultancy is seeking a skilled Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Damansara Perdana. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing costs related to construction projects, optimizing value for money, and ensuring strict compliance with project requirements. As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the financial lifecycle of our projects. You will assist in preparing and analyzing bills of quantities (BOQ), cost planning, and tender documentation. Your expertise will help us monitor project expenditure against the budget, identify cost-saving opportunities, and process accurate payment certificates. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Monitor project expenditure and ensure strict adherence to the approved budget throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site measurements and prepare interim payment applications for subcontractors and contractors.
- Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors to discuss variations, claims, and project progress.
- Prepare and submit monthly cost reports and analysis summaries to project management.
- Ensure all works comply with contractual conditions, specifications, and quality standards.
- Assist in the valuation of works and the procurement process for construction materials.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Economics, or a related construction field.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., MRQS, MIQS) is highly preferred.
- Proven experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor Trainee.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, measurement methods, and cost control principles.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and QS software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
