Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in preparing cost estimations, feasibility studies, and detailed budget forecasts for upcoming projects.
- Measure and prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BQ) and materials take-offs based on architectural and engineering drawings.
- Support the procurement process by sourcing suppliers, obtaining material quotations, and conducting cost comparison analyses.
- Assist in the administration of contracts, including the evaluation of progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
- Liaise effectively with subcontractors, clients, consultants, and internal project teams to resolve cost-related queries.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized project documentation, including contracts, receipts, and correspondence.
- Monitor project progress and schedules to ensure cost-efficiency and compliance with contract specifications.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, though promising fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in measurement software (e.g., Cubicost, Glodon) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of local construction materials, cost structures, and standard forms of contract.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
