Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily retail operations in our Serendah branch. You will play a pivotal role in managing stock, leading a team of retail staff, and ensuring the highest standards of cash management and store presentation. Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the complete daily retail operations to ensure maximum efficiency and adherence to company standards.
- Managing inventory levels, conducting regular stock takes, and ensuring accurate stock replenishment and rotation.
- Providing strong leadership and guidance to the store team, fostering a positive and high-performance work culture.
- Handling meticulous cash management procedures, including POS operations, daily sales reconciliation, and banking deposits.
- Implementing effective visual merchandising strategies to optimize the customer shopping experience and drive sales.
- Ensuring strict compliance with all company policies, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assisting in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of store personnel to build a skilled workforce.
- Analyzing sales reports and market trends to identify opportunities for business improvement and growth.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role within a retail environment.
- Strong command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage inventory, cash, and sales operations effectively.
- Possess a valid driving license and own transport, with willingness to work in Serendah.
- Flexible with working hours, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- High level of integrity, responsibility, and a strong customer service mindset.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure a smooth, efficient, and customer-friendly environment.
- Lead, motivate, and manage retail staff to achieve optimal productivity and sales targets.
- Manage inventory, including stock ordering, receiving, replenishment, and accurate record-keeping.
- Handle all cash management duties, including POS systems, cash floats, and daily sales reporting.
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards to maximize sales and enhance the shopping experience.
- Ensure full compliance with operational procedures, safety standards, and company policies.
- Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of team members.
- Drive store profitability by identifying opportunities to improve sales and reduce operational costs.
Kualifikasi
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
- At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the retail industry, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Serendah.
- Possess own transportation is an advantage.
