Assistant Sustainability Manager

Spritzer, Malaysia's leading natural mineral water producer, is committed to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Sustainability Manager to join our team in Taiping, Perak. In this pivotal role, you will support the development and implementation of our sustainability agenda, ensuring full compliance with environmental and social standards across all operations.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability objectives into business processes, drive continuous improvement, and enhance our corporate responsibility initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in formulating and executing sustainability strategies aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental laws, social standards, and sustainability certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 26000).
• Coordinate sustainability reporting and data collection for internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead and support sustainability projects, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and water conservation initiatives.
• Engage with employees and departments to promote a culture of sustainability and environmental awareness.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sustainability targets.
• Prepare presentations and communications to showcase sustainability achievements.
• Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and community partners on sustainability matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or corporate social responsibility.
• Knowledge of Malaysian environmental regulations and sustainability frameworks.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical and reporting abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sustainability reporting tools.
