Batzam Sales Distribution Corporation is seeking a proactive Associate Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in Lubao, Pampanga. In this pivotal role, you will act as a key partner in our Finance & Administration department, ensuring financial integrity, operational efficiency, and accurate reporting.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between daily accounting tasks and strategic financial oversight. You will play a crucial role in maintaining fiscal discipline while supporting the management team in data-driven decision-making. We are looking for an individual with strong analytical skills, a solid grasp of Philippine financial reporting standards, and the leadership capacity to streamline accounting processes in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams to manage budget tracking, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure full compliance with BIR regulations, local tax laws, and government reportorial requirements.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
- Implement and improve internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies during annual audits and tax examinations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in the distribution or retail industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Philippine taxation, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail.
