Are you an aspiring auditor looking to kickstart your career in a leading professional services firm? Crowe Malaysia Plt (Miri) is seeking a dedicated Associate, Audit & Assurance to join our growing team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience handling a diverse portfolio of audit engagements for small to medium-sized businesses (SMEs) and assist senior team members with larger, more complex audits. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and reviewing financial statements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA). This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your technical accounting skills while working in a collaborative environment in the heart of Sarawak. You will learn directly from experienced mentors, ensuring you gain a comprehensive understanding of the audit lifecycle from planning to reporting.
Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct external audits for small to medium-sized entities (SMEs) under close supervision.
- Assist senior auditors in the planning and execution of medium to large-scale audit assignments.
- Perform analytical procedures and substantive testing on financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare accurate audit working papers, schedules, and financial statements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their business operations and internal controls.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and company audit policies.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and audit regulations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills being highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines during busy seasons.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is an advantage but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
