We are seeking a highly motivated Associate - Fund Accounting to join our growing team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting for our diverse portfolio of investment funds.
As an Associate, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to manage daily fund operations, handle complex reconciliations, and contribute to the preparation of periodic financial statements. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform daily and monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations for various fund structures.
- Conduct cash and position reconciliations against custodian and prime broker reports.
- Monitor corporate actions and ensure accurate recording within the accounting system.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary supporting documentation for annual audits.
- Manage fee calculations, including management and performance fees, in accordance with fund documentation.
- Support the team in month-end and quarter-end financial closing processes.
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies promptly to ensure data integrity.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in fund accounting, audit, or financial services operations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and investment products (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) is mandatory.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Professional qualification pursuit (ACCA, CPA, CFA) is considered a strong advantage.
