Fortune Supermarket is looking for a responsible team member to join our growing team as an Audit Accounts Assistant. Based in Woodlands, North Region, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations. We are seeking a candidate who is detail-oriented and eager to support daily supermarket activities, including the management of stock and the implementation of loss prevention measures. You will be responsible for ensuring that all stock is accurately accounted for and that the store environment remains clean and organized.
As an Audit Accounts Assistant, you will assist in conducting regular stock audits to verify inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements to reduce shrinkage. You will also support the general accounting functions, such as data reconciliation and report preparation, while ensuring compliance with company policies. - Conduct regular stock audits and inventory checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of stock levels.
- Monitor stock movement and perform daily reconciliation to identify discrepancies or potential losses.
- Assist in implementing loss prevention strategies and report shrinkage incidents to management.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with daily accounting tasks and data entry.
- Ensure the store environment remains clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff.
- Collaborate with the management team to improve operational efficiency and stock management processes.
- Support general supermarket operations during peak hours as required.
Kualifikasi
- GCE 'O' or 'N' levels or equivalent qualification.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and inventory management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and discrepancies.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a retail setting.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
