As a Senior member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in leading our audit and tax projects while mentoring junior staff to achieve their career goals.
In this role, you will manage complex audit engagements and tax compliance requirements for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will ensure that our clients receive insightful advisory services that drive business value and adherence to regulatory standards.
Tanggung Jawab
- Conducting and managing statutory audits, reviews, and other assurance engagements for clients.
- Preparing comprehensive tax computations, filing returns, and ensuring full compliance with local tax regulations.
- Providing expert tax advisory services and financial planning recommendations to clients.
- Leading and mentoring a team of junior auditors and accountants to ensure high standards of work quality.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to identify new business opportunities.
- Reviewing financial statements and ensuring accuracy in line with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, MFRS).
- Performing internal quality control reviews and adhering to firm policies and procedures.
Kualifikasi
- ACCA qualification (or equivalent professional qualification such as CIMA/CPA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Audit and Taxation within a public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, GST, and corporate reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines during busy seasons.
- Strong leadership qualities and a commitment to professional development.
