Your Role & Impact:
As an Audit Assistant, you will be the cornerstone of our audit engagement teams. You will assist in the detailed planning, execution, and finalization of audit procedures, learning directly from seasoned experts who are invested in your success. From fundamental compliance checks to complex substantive testing, you will develop a comprehensive and practical understanding of the full audit lifecycle. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the planning and execution of statutory audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Perform substantive and compliance testing to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
- Document and evaluate clients' internal control processes, identifying key risk areas and suggesting improvements.
- Prepare accurate and organized audit working papers in accordance with Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA).
- Liaise professionally with clients to obtain necessary information, clarify audit issues, and resolve queries in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of audited financial statements, management letters, and tax computations.
- Support senior team members with ad-hoc projects, research, and client deliverables.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, auditing techniques, and regulatory changes.
Kualifikasi
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA, CPA Australia, or ISCA).
- Prior internship or experience in a public accounting firm is highly advantageous.
- Strong foundational knowledge of SFRS, SSA, and Singapore tax regulations.
- Meticulous, analytical, and highly organized with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and Word) and familiarity with audit software is a plus.
- A collaborative team player with strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and a proactive, “can-do” attitude.
