We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Audit Assistant to join our finance team in Kota Kinabalu. In this pivotal role, you will support the audit process by examining financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and identifying areas for operational improvement. You will work closely with senior auditors to prepare comprehensive audit reports and assist in the verification of financial statements.
As an Audit Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial data and ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and reported. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of internal and external audit engagements.
- Review and verify financial statements, ledgers, and supporting documentation for accuracy.
- Conduct detailed testing of account balances and transactions to identify discrepancies or irregularities.
- Prepare audit schedules, working papers, and reports for senior management review.
- Ensure strict compliance with statutory accounting standards and internal control procedures.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly to the audit team and stakeholders.
- Assist in the implementation of audit recommendations and process improvements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
- 1-2 years of experience in auditing, accounting, or finance, or relevant internship experience.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite, including Excel.
- Deep understanding of auditing principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
