Tanggung Jawab
- Plan, execute, and finalize statutory audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring strict compliance with SFRS and ISA.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive audit work papers, financial statements, and audit reports for management and client review.
- Supervise, guide, and mentor junior team members, conducting on-the-job training and reviewing their deliverables for accuracy (for Senior role).
- Identify key business risks, assess internal controls, and provide constructive, value-added recommendations to clients.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with clientele through effective communication and proactive management of expectations.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure assignments are completed within stipulated deadlines.
- Stay updated on developments in accounting and auditing standards, applying updates to audit methodology.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal audit processes and quality control systems.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a recognized professional qualification (ACCA, CPA Australia, ICAEW, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1–2 years of external audit experience for Associate positions; 3–5 years for Senior positions.
- In-depth knowledge of SFRS, SFRS for Small Entities, and International Standards on Auditing.
- Proficiency in audit management software (e.g., CaseWare, CCH, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage for dealing with Chinese-speaking clients.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple engagements.
- Prior experience in a mid-tier or Big 4 accounting firm is strongly preferred.
