Tanggung Jawab
- Plan and execute audit engagements for a diverse range of clients in accordance with approved audit programs.
- Perform fieldwork, including testing of internal controls and substantive procedures for key financial statement accounts.
- Prepare comprehensive audit working papers and ensure documentation meets professional standards.
- Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations for improvements in internal controls to clients.
- Collaborate with engagement teams to resolve accounting issues and ensure timely completion of audit deliverables.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior audit staff during field engagements.
- Stay updated on the latest MFRS, MPERS, and relevant Malaysian tax/company laws.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and audit reports.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or MICPA) in progress or completed.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in an external audit role within a public accounting firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of MFRS, MPERS, and the Companies Act 2016.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to communicate in Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus.
