Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the planning, execution, and finalization of statutory audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
- Support the preparation of corporate tax computations, tax estimations, tax returns, and responses to tax authority queries.
- Maintain organized and accurate audit and tax working papers in compliance with firm policies, MFRS, ISA, and relevant tax regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather information, clarify financial data, and build strong working relationships.
- Perform detailed analytical procedures, substantive testing, and control testing to support audit conclusions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects, special assignments, and the development of internal processes to enhance team efficiency.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry best practices.
Kualifikasi
- A recognized Degree in Accounting / Finance or a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA). Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles (MFRS) and Malaysian taxation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). Experience with accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, Autocount) is an advantage.
- Own transport and a willingness to travel for client site visits primarily within Penang Island and the Mainland.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin or other dialects is a plus for client liaison.
- Committed, responsible, and capable of managing multiple priorities to meet tight reporting deadlines.
