Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the audit team in the preparation of financial statements, audit working papers, and schedules.
- Conduct fieldwork at client sites to gather and analyze financial data and supporting documentation.
- Support the tax department with the preparation of VAT returns, corporate tax computations, and advisory assignments.
- Perform analytical procedures and reconcile complex financial figures using Microsoft Excel.
- Research relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, MFRS) and tax regulations to ensure compliance.
- Attend client meetings and prepare meeting minutes or presentation materials.
- Maintain an organized filing system for both audit files and tax documentation.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
- Strong academic background with a focus on Tax or Auditing modules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced functions in Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) is a plus.
